Diversion on Route 53

4 July 2025

We wish to advise customers that due to roadworks on Alexandra Road, Route 53 will be diverted from 09.00hrs on Saturday 19 July 2025 for approximately 1 year.

As a result the following diversion will be in place; 

Route 53
Towards Dublin Ferryport 
Normal route to East Wall Road, divert via Bond Road, Promenade Road, Bond Drive, Tolka Quay Road and back on to normal route.
Stops 2264 Alexandra Road, Tolka Quay and 2265 Bond Drive, Tolka Quay will not be in use during this time. Please proceed to stops 2262 Merchants Road, East Wall or 7601 Bond Drive, Tolka Quay for your nearest stop location.
Towards Talbot Street
Normal route.
