What to Expect
We are excited to embark on this literary journey together, focusing on works by Irish authors. Here’s what you can look forward to in the coming weeks:
- New Book Every 6 Weeks: Every six weeks, we will introduce a new book by an Irish author. This gives you plenty of time to read and get involved in discussions on the app, Fable.
- Exclusive Discounts: As a member of the book club, you will enjoy a 10% discount on all book purchases from Chapters Bookstore with our Books on Board membership card. This makes it easier to get your hands on our selected reads without breaking the bank.
- Social Media Competition: To launch each book, we will be running competitions on X, Facebook and Instagram.
- Online Discussions: To foster engaging conversations, we will utilise the Fable app for our online discussions. This platform allows us to connect, share insights, and dive deeper into the themes and characters of each book.

- Email: Contact us by email at [email protected] when you join, and we will send you a Books on Board welcome pack. This includes your membership card, a bookmark and notebook.
