The JAM card is produced by the NOW Group which is a social enterprise that supports people with learning difficulties and autism into jobs with a future.
It was their participants who developed the card as they wanted a discreet way of telling people that sometimes they need a little extra time and patience.
There are three different types of cards:
- One for Autism.
- One for Learning difficulties.
- One for a Condition.
When you show your JAM card to a Dublin Bus driver, they will know that you need extra care and time.
