This year’s Be Winter Ready campaign highlights the ‘Whole of Government’ approach taken to plan and prepare for the challenges of winter. Core to this campaign is the message to be prepared, stay safe and know where to find help if needed.

The campaign provides practical advice and information to the public on preparing for and overcoming the difficulties which may affect them during winter months in Ireland - such as how to prepare for severe weather, where to source information, and personal actions that can be taken to become more resilient in their winter readiness.

The dedicated website winterready.ie provides helpful information for resilience this winter for people, their families and communities. Information is provided from a wide number of sources including Government Departments and Agencies, An Garda Síochána, the Health Service Executive, the Office of Public Works, Local Authorities and Transport providers.
