Reporting to the Head of Strategic Communications and Engagement

Salary range: €80,000 - €90,000 per annum

Permanent role – 6 months probationary period

Job Role / Key Responsibilities:
The main purpose of the role is to champion the role of Public Affairs and Public Policy in Dublin Bus. The main responsibility of the role is to devise and implement strategic corporate communications, public affairs, public policy and stakeholder engagement strategies for Dublin Bus. 
We are accepting applications from candidates that have the following requirements:

  • 3rd level qualification in communications or political communications
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills
  • Clear understanding of the political, governmental, and transport regulatory system in Ireland and particularly at Dublin city & county level
  • Knowledge / experience of social media
  • Good knowledge / experience of Microsoft packages
