Dublin Bus wishes to advise customers that from midnight on 24 December 2020, public transport will operate at 25% capacity as Ireland moves to Level 5 of the Government’s Plan for Living with Covid-19. Public transport should only be used for essential workers and essential purposes.

To facilitate this, customer capacity on board will be limited. On-board signage has been changed to reflect the updated restrictions. We would ask customers to please continue to adhere to our social distancing measures on-board. Services will be closely monitored, and capacity will be added where required.

We would like to thank our customers and remind them to please continue to carefully follow the guidelines set out by the Government and the Department of Health while travelling on our services and that wearing a face covering is mandatory on public transport

We would also like to remind our customers to:

  • Exit through the centre doors, where possible
  • Give priority for seating downstairs to people with a disability, older people or a pregnant person
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or you sleeve when you cough or sneeze
  • Wash your hands properly and often
  • Ensure that you do not leave any litter behind

Customers can also get updates on Facebook, follow us on Twitter @dublinbusnews or call our customer service line on (01) 8734222, lines open from 07:00 - 19:00hrs Monday to Friday and 08:00 – 18:00hrs Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
