At Dublin Bus, we are committed to adapting our routes to suit the changing needs of your city.

From Sunday 21 October, Route 53 will now serve an even wider community Monday to Friday by connecting Gardiner Street, Sean McDermott Street Lower, Buckingham Street Upper, Summerhill, Cumberland Street North and the O’Connell Street area of the North Inner City to Dublin Port.

Customers can now board at additional locations in the city centre which include Sean MacDermot Street (Stop no. 7671), Cathal Brugha Street (Stop no. 286) and O’Connell Street (Stop no. 271) towards East Wall and Dublin Port.

Both Route 27a and Route 53 will also have a minor timetable change on Monday to Friday departures.

All changes have been approved by the National Transport Authority.
