Human Resources Service Manager 
Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources and Development, the successful candidate will promote positive and productive employee relations between Dublin Bus and its employees and employee representatives, manage employee /industrial relations activities and develop and implement positive policies and procedures which foster positive employee relations.  

The following competencies and requirements are associated with the role: 

  • The position is a senior member of the Human Resource Team and is expected to deputise for the Head of Human Resources and Development.
  • The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the Human Resource function and have experience in a multi-union environment 
  • A skilled negotiator, with strong influencing capabilities and relevant experience in dispute resolution techniques and negotiation 
  • Understands Human Resources role in supporting overall Dublin Bus objectives across the organisation.
  • Good knowledge of general business, social and political environment in which business operates• Strong inter-personal skills with ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • A third level or post-graduate qualification is desired, with continuous professional development evidenced in ongoing knowledge building in employment law and best practice.
