Routes 8, 59, 63 and 111 Network Review

Route 59
Route 59 will operate from Dún Laoghaire via Dalkey, Killiney Towers Roundabout, Ballinclea Road, Cluny Grove, Avondale Road, Loughlinstown and terminate at Loughlinstown Hospital. This will provide an improved connection between these areas and the hospital. It will have an improved frequency of every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday.

Route 63
Route 63 will now serve Mackintosh Park. The route will be realigned to operate via Cornelscourt Hill Road, Cabinteely Road, Johnstown Road, Pottery Road, Mackintosh Park and Baker’s Corner. This route will also serve the proposed new entrance to the National Rehabilitation Hospital on Pottery Road. New stops will be provided on Pottery Road and Johnstown Road to serve new destinations such as Amgen, Lidl and Cabinteely Community School.

As a result of the improved service provided by routes 59 and 63, routes 8 and 111 will no longer operate.
