On 11 December Dublin Bus received the “Corporate Endeavour Award” award at the South Dublin County Council Community Endeavour Awards 2015, for our commitment to supporting community activity. 



The awards aim to acknowledge, promote and recognise the work of community and voluntary organisations within the area of South Dublin County Council. Winning entries were chosen by an independent panel of expert Judges. In addition to the group awards, community groups were invited to nominate a business who has supported local community initiatives. Dublin Bus was nominated by Dominic’s Active Men’s Group (DAMS), a social club for retired men who organise activities such as bowls and pitch and putt as well as outings to places of interest. Dublin Bus and the Schools and Community Co-ordinators have supported DAMS by providing them with the Community Spirit Bus for their outings. 

In addition to an award presented on the night, Dublin Bus was also awarded €1000 and this will be given back into the community in the administrative area of South Dublin County Council.
