Dublin Bus is seeking sales orientated, enthusiastic, outgoing people to work outdoors as part of the promotional and sales team for the iconic Sightseeing Tours.

As leaders in the tourism market - DoDublin Sightseeing Tours has achieved Trip Advisor certificates of excellence from 2011 – 2019 and continues to grow in this area.

Working in a highly competitive environment we require people who are confident, resilient, flexible, and self-motivated - someone who can actively engage with people and can work as part of the Sales and Promotional team.

The positions will be based in the Dublin area, working in the City Centre. Shifts can vary between 4 to 6 hours in length, between the hours of 9am–5pm, Monday to Sunday. 

The successful candidate will

• Have previous target driven sales experience and customer service in a competitive environment
• Have cash handling experience
  
• Have good knowledge of DoDublin services and products
  
• Have a good knowledge of Dublin City and public transport
  
• Have a flexible approach to work
• Be available to work Monday to Sunday doing shift work 
• Be fluent in understanding, speaking and writing in the English language
  
• Be willing to work in an outdoor environment

Conversational knowledge in one or more languages is desirable.

Successful candidates will be offered a minimum 15 hour a week contract with the opportunity to work up to 39 hours based on operational requirement. Successful candidates will be offered an initial two-month contract, upon satisfactory performance and reviews contracts can be extended.

The rate of pay for successful candidates will be €12.28 per hour.
