Contracted Services from Dublin Bus

A range of contracted services are operated on behalf of Dublin Bus.

The contracted services are on contract to Dublin Bus and all Dublin Bus rules, regulations and bye-laws apply on these services. Adult prepaid tickets are valid and dedicated child and school tickets are available for travel on these services. These buses are identifiable as Contracted Buses with the Dublin Bus logo clearly marked on the front back and side. They will pick up and set down at Dublin Bus stops.

Contracted Services 10 Journey Schoolchild
The Contracted Services 10 Journey Schoolchild ticket is valid for use by a schoolchild under 16 years of age. Children 12 to 15 years must have a Dublin Bus Schoolchild Photo Identity Card.*

Contracted Services 10 Journey Scholar
The Contracted Services Journey Scholar ticket is valid for use by a secondary school student 16 to 18 years of age.  Students 16 to 18 years must have a Dublin Bus Scholar Photo Identity Card.*

Validating your ticket:
Tickets can be validated by simply handing the ticket to the bus driver.

Where to buy:
Contracted Services 10 Journey Scholar, Contracted Services 10 Journey Schoolchild and Contracted Services Adult, Scholar and Schoolchild Single Journey tickets are available to purchase from your bus driver. Adult prepaid tickets are valid on these services.
