Dublin Bus’ New Christmas Shopper Friendly Campaign is Just the Ticket

Ticket Thursdays is Dublin Bus’ latest recession busting initiative which saw some of the city’s top retail, food, leisure and beauty outlets offering special discount rates to all Dublin Bus prepaid ticket holders. The initiative proved to be very popular amongst customers.

Ticket Thursdays ran for four consecutive Thursdays and saw Dublin Bus together with some of the city’s top businesses offering Dublin Bus prepaid ticket users special discount rates on purchases. Along with Clerys Department Store, participating outlets included music store Tower Records, the sports store Champion Sports; top restaurants such as Wagamama, Blackboard Bistro and Captain America’s, and family attractions such as Dublin Zoo and the National Wax Museum Plus. All these and more came on board for this recession busting project.

As part of the launch, Irish model Ruth O’Neill and some of the participating partners along with the Ticket Thursday Mascot took part in a photo shoot in Clerys Department Store and on the O’Connell Street.
