Dublin Bus ensures the provision of a reliable method of public transport for our customers, but we also play an active role in the communities we serve. An important part of a successful business is about connecting with the people that we serve and work with.
The Media & Communications Department works towards this objective and organises and runs various initiatives and events during the year involving local communities throughout Dublin.
These include the Dublin Bus Community Support Programme and the Schools Programme. The CSP aims to help local voluntary organisations and charities within the areas in which we operate our service while the Schools Programme, in conjunction with our Schools’ Coordinators, focuses on social issues among our younger customers such as anti-social behaviour and vandalism.
