The stadium is located in the very heart of Tallaght, surrounded by modern construction developments built in the last decade that now house hotels, shops, housing and office facilities.
It is a major visitor attraction in the county and provides a focal point for the people of the area who regularly come to the venue to support Shamrock Rovers.
As well as football the stadium hosts a wide range of community activities, which add considerably to the social fabric of the lives of the people of Tallaght.
Since opening in 2009 the stadium continues to be a tremendous asset, as well as a source of pride, to the local community.
