Dublin Bus receives award for Best Consumer Public Relations Campaign at the Awards for Excellence in Public Relations

Dublin Bus received an award for its Show Your True Colours Campaign, to celebrate Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride 2018, at the Awards for Excellence in Public Relations, under the Best Consumer Public Relations Campaign with a budget under €20,000 category. Winners were announced at a special awards ceremony which took place at the Mansion House in June.

Since 2008 Dublin Bus has celebrated diversity and inclusion by supporting Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride, as part of our commitment to support our LGBTQ+ employees and the wider LGBTQ+ community. To build on the success of previous years and mark the tenth year of our support to Dublin Pride we developed a strikingly visual campaign. 

In this category the judges remarked on the clear linking of a socially aware campaign with business values; an appealing connection made with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders; and the original creative and visual content used.  

The Awards for Excellence is the celebration of best practice in Irish public relations, public affairs and communications. Jointly run by PRCA, the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) and CIPR Northern Ireland these awards set the benchmark for the best work by their profession.
