Dublin’s Best Bus Driver
It was another successful year for Dublin Bus as Ringsend driver, Caroline Glennon, stormed to victory to be crowned Dublin’s Best Bus Driver at this year’s 98fm Best of Dublin Awards.

The awards are all about giving some recognition to bus drivers and other professions that make the city what it is. This competition brings together the verdicts of all Dubliners to recognise and reward drivers who really do deliver for their customers. A whopping 466,000 people voted across the categories, in a poll about what Dubliners love about our city.

The event was presented by 98fm's Adrian Kennedy and Jeremy Dixon with a host of stars including Twink, former boxing Olympic Silver Medalist Kenneth Egan, models Holly Carpenter and Rosanna Davison, Aslan’s Billy McGuinness, TV3’s Alan Hughes and Lord Mayor Christy Burke handing out awards.

Two in a row
The Best Bus Driver category was dominated by Dublin Bus drivers with Caroline’s colleagues from Ringsend depot, Kieran Rossiter and John Ryan receiving nominations along with John Greene from our Hop on Hop off Tour. However, it was Caroline who reigned supreme on the night. She follows in the footsteps of last year’s winner, Brian McLoughlin of Clontarf depot who won the first ever Dublin’s Best Bus Driver Award.

Driving high standards
The award recognises Dublin Bus as a leader in the field of driving excellence, by combining modern technology and the experience and professionalism of our drivers and trainers.

Well done to Caroline and all the nominees.
