Revised Dublin Bus Fares from 1 December, 2017

Published on Friday, October 27, 2017

Dublin Bus wishes to advise customers that following a determination by the National Transport Authority (NTA) revised fares will apply to some cash fares, Leap fares and Rambler Tickets which will come into effect from 1 December, 2017.

An additional year of free travel will be given to our younger customers as children under 5 years of age will travel for free on Dublin Bus.

There is no change to fares for shorter journeys or for longer journeys. Fares for mid-range journeys are to increase by approximately 5% but 2/3 of cash customers can beat the increase simply by moving to Leap. Use of Leap Card will be up to 28% cheaper than cash.

Full information on all public transport fare determinations are available at the NTA website.

Full details are available here.
