Dublin Bus wishes to advise customers that from Monday 17th August, Route 53 will be rerouted due to the closure of the middle section of Alexandra Road.        

Route 53 Towards Ferryport will operate as normal to Alexandra Road then turn left to 1 Branch Road South, right to Tolka Quay Road, left to Bond Drive, right to Promenade Road, right to 2 Branch Road North and then back on to normal route.

Route 53 From Ferryport will operate as per current route but will have a new stop 7601 at Bond Drive. In addition to the new stop at Bond Drive, three stops will move location but their stop numbers will remain the same. Stop 2264 will move further down Alexandra Road, Stop 2265 will move from Alexandra Road to Tolka Quay Road and Stop 2266 will move from Alexandra Road to Promenade Road.
