Dublin Bus wishes to advise customers that due to the Dun Laoghaire Bay 10k Road Race will take place on Monday 3rd August from 10:00hrs to 13:00hrs approximately. As a result the following diversions will be in place on Routes 4, 7, 45a, 46a, 59, 63 and 75.
Route 4
From City Centre Towards Dun Laoghaire
Buses will terminate at the old terminus at Stradbrook / Abbey Road. Monkstown Avenue will be closed for the duration of the race.
Route 7
From City Centre Towards Loughlinstown / Cherrywood
At Temple Hill buses will divert right via Stradbrook Road towards Abbey Road Roundabout, Bakers Corner, Rochestown Avenue, left at traffic lights opposite hospital for Sallynoggin Road, right to Pearse Street and back on to normal route.
Route 7 From Loughlinstown / Cherrywood
Towards City Centre
Normal route to Sallynoggin Church / Pearse Street then divert left at Sallynoggin Road, Rochestown Avenue, Bakers Corner, Abbey Road, Stradbrook Road, Temple Hill and then back on to normal route.
Route 45a Towards Dun Laoghaire
From Ballywaltrim
Normal route to Rochestown Avenue, at junction of Rochestown / Sallynoggin Road continue towards Bakers Corner, Abbey Road and terminate at last bus stop before Abbey Road Roundabout. Buses are unable to access Dun Laoghaire.
Route 45a
Towards Ballywaltrim From Dun Laoghaire
Buses are unable to access Dun Laoghaire. Buses turning at roundabout on Abbey Road for Bakers Corner continuing towards Rochestown Avenue and back on to normal route.
Routes 46a, 63 and 75 Towards Dun Laoghaire
Normal route to Bakers Corner then divert left to Abbey Road and terminate at last bus stop before Abbey Road Roundabout. Buses are unable to access Dun Laoghaire.
Routes 46a, 63 and 75 From Dun Laoghaire
Buses from Abbey Road for Bakers Corner, right at traffic lights to Kill Avenue and back on to normal route.
Route 59 From Mackintosh Park Towards Dun Laoghaire
Buses unable to access Dun Laoghaire and are only operating to Killiney Hill and terminating beside Druids Pub.
