We wish to advise customers that on Sunday 24th April 2016 Swords Main Street, North Street and Bridge Street will be closed to traffic from approximately 16:00hrs to 21:45hrs. As a result there will be 2 phases of diversions. The first phase of diversions will be in place from 16:00hrs to 17:45hrs and the second phase will be in place between 17:45hrs to 21:45hrs.
Phase One diversions from 16:00hrs to 17:45hrs
Route 33/a to Balbriggan
From Pinnock Hill buses will continue straight on the R132 (Swords Bypass) set down and pick up at stop 6117 near the Pavillion Roundabout, then back on the R132 to Estuary Roundabout to normal route.
Route 33 to Lower Abbey Street
At Estuary Roundabout buses will divert to R132 at Swords Bypass and set down and pick up at stop 6117 near the Pavillion Roundabout stops and back onto the R132 (Swords Bypass) to normal route at Pinnock Hill Roundabout.
Route 33a to Swords & Balbriggan
Turn at Pinnock Hill Roundabout and terminate at the bus stop immediately before the Malahide Road Roundabout, stop 5074. Pick up at stop 6117 near the Pavillion Roundabout on the outbound journeys then turn left for the R132 Swords bypass.
Route 33b to Portrane & Swords
Turn at Pinnock Hill Roundabout and terminate at the bus stop immediately before the Malahide Road Roundabout, stop 5074. Pick up at stop 6117 near the Pavillion Roundabout on the outbound journeys then turn left for the R132 Swords bypass.
Routes 41/b to Swords
Set down and pick up at stop no. 6117 (Inbound Stop for the 41 route) near the Pavillion Roundabout, then turn left on to R132 Swords Bypass), turn left at Estuary Roundabout and continue straight to crossroads, turn left at Balheary Road then turn right to Watery Lane, continue to T junction then turn right to Rathbeale Road and back on to normal route.
Routes 41/b to Lower Abbey Street
At Rathbeale Road turn left to Watery Lane continue to T junction, turn left onto the Balheary Road and the next right towards Estuary Roundabout, take the third exit and continue on R132 Swords Bypass) set down and pick up at stop 6117 near the Pavillion Roundabout, then back on the R132 to Malahide Road Roundabout and back to normal route
Route 41c to Swords Manor
Normal route to River Valley exit right to Forest road, left to Boromihe, left to R132 at Airside, stay on Swords R132 bypass serving all stops, take first exit at Estuary roundabout and back on to normal route.
Route 41c to Lower Abbey Street
Normal route to Balheary road to R132 via Estuary roundabout to the Malahide roundabout, Stay on the R132 Swords Bypass serving all stops then turn right for Boroimhe at Airside, right again onto the Forest road, left to River Valley and back on to normal route.
Route 43 to Swords
At Malahide Roundabout set down and pick up at stop 6117 near the Pavillion Roundabout, then back on the R132 continue straight to Seatown Roundabout and take third exit and back to normal route to terminus.
Route 43 to Talbot Street
At Seatown Roundabout take first exit left to R132 continue to Malahide Road Roundabout) set down/pick up at stop 6117 near the Pavillion Roundabout, then back and back to normal route.
Route 102 to Sutton Station
Operate normal route to River Valley then divert right onto forest Road then left for Boroimhe, left onto Swords Bypass, set down and pick up at stop 6117 near the Pavillion Roundabout, then back on normal route.
Route 102 to Dublin Airport
At Malahide Road Roundabout continue on and set down and pick up at stop 6117 near the Pavilion Roundabout, then take the fourth Exit on the Malahide Roundabout R132 Swords Bypass continue towards Airside and take the right for Boroimhe then divert right onto Forest Road left for Rivervalley and back on to normal route.
Phase Two diversions from 17:45hrs to 21:45hrs
Route 33/a towards Balbriggan
Operate normal route to Swords Village then divert right onto the Malahide road at the Garda station, take the first exit on the Malahide Roundabout R132 Swords Bypass, continue straight ahead onto normal route.
Route 33/a to Lower Abbey Street
At Estuary Roundabout continue straight ahead on the R132 Swords Bypass towards the Malahide roundabout. Take the third exit for Swords village and turn left at the Garda station onto the Dublin Road and back on to normal route.
Route 33B to Portrane
Operate from terminus to Swords Garda station, turn left onto Dublin road, left at Pinnock Hill Roundabout and operate via R132 Swords Bypass on to normal route.
Route 33B to Swords
From the Estuary Roundabout continue straight ahead onto the Swords Bypass towards the Malahide roundabout to access the terminus at the Pavillion roundabout.
Routes 41/b to Swords
Operate normal route to the Pavillion Roundabout set down and pick up at stop 6117 (Inbound Stop for the 41 route) turn left on to R132 Swords Bypass) turn left at Estuary Roundabout. Continue straight to crossroads turn left at Balheary Road then turn right to Watery Lane, continue to T junction then turn right to Rathbeale Road and back on to normal route.

At Rathbeale Road turn left to Watery Lane continue to T junction, turn left onto the Balheary Road and the next right towards Estuary Roundabout, take the third exit and continue on R132 Swords Bypass) set down and pick up at stop 6117 near the Pavillion Roundabout, then back on the R132 to Malahide Road Roundabout and back to normal route.
Route 41c to Swords Manor
Normal route to Swords Village then divert right at the Garda station towards the R132 Swords bypass serving all stops, take first exit at Estuary roundabout to normal route.
Route 41c to Lower Abbey Street
Normal route to Balheary road, divert via Estuary roundabout to the Swords bypass (R132) towards the Malahide roundabout, take the third exit for the Pavilions, the turn left at the Garda station and back on to normal route.
Route 43 to Swords
At Malahide Roundabout set down and pick up at stop 6117 near the Pavillion Roundabout, then back on the R132 continue straight to Seatown Roundabout and take third exit and back to normal route to terminus.
Route 43 to Talbot Street
At Seatown Roundabout take first exit left to R132 continue to Malahide Road Roundabout) set down and pick up at stop 6117 near the Pavillion Roundabout, then back on to normal route.
