Changes to Routes 7b, 7d and 63

We wish to advise customers of  timetable and routing changes to Routes 7b, 7d and 63 from Sunday 13 November 2016.

Route 7b
There will be a minor timetable change on Route 7b. There will be no change to the routing.

Route 7d
Route 7d will operate on its current routing from Dalkey to Bakers Corner and will then operate via Abbey Road, Link Road, Brookfield Park, Rowanbyrn, Annaville Terrace, Fleurville, Stillorgan Park Road, N11, UCD, Donnybrook and will terminate at Mountjoy Square in the city centre.

Route 7d map

Route 63
Route 63 will be realigned to operate from Kilternan to Dún Laoghaire via Carrickmines Luas Stop, Cornelscourt Hill Road, the N11 Quality Bus Corridor, Johnstown Road, Pottery Road (Mackintosh Park), Baker’s Corner and Monkstown Farm. Clonkeen Road will still be served by Routes 84 and 84a with onward connections at N11 and Deansgrange (Routes 46a and 75 to Dun Laoghaire and Route 145 to City Centre).

Route 63 map


This new routing will offer an enhanced connection to the National Rehabilitation Hospital on Pottery Road. There will be new stops provided on Pottery Road and Johnstown Road to serve new destinations such as Lidl and Cabinteely Community School. 

These changes have been approved by the National Transport Authority.
